The landscaping of a 7,000m2 plot with 4 newly built housing towers is approached from a point of view centred on renaturalisation and environmental sustainability. With a total of 105 rental apartments, the main focus is to maximise draining surfaces through the use of natural paving and the harvesting of rainwater for the future vegetation.

The choice of native Mediterranean vegetation with low water requirements is key. A pine forest with undergrowth is chosen to reinforce the connection with Collserola–Esplugues along the vertical axis, while on the horizontal axis, which represents the civic component of the proposal, showy flowers and a combination of evergreen and deciduous trees create different atmospheres within the overall intervention.

The integration of the platforms at different levels, resulting from the application of planning regulations, is achieved through tiers and flights of steps that serve not only as connecting elements but also as places to stay. To soften the image and improve safety, the concrete retaining walls and metal railings are replaced by planted slopes with shrubs and children's play areas.

Large self-contained planters are used in the areas above the underground car park, as a consequence of the live-load limitation and to prevent future water infiltration problems. In addition, grey water from the homes is reused by means of tanks with biofilters, making use of wastewater from showers and sinks and contributing to the sustainability of the project.
